For a great friend featuring a fun hAnglar image and a WINNER!!!

Happy Sunday everyone!  Sure hope you're having a fabulous weekend! It's been chilly and rainy here all weekend, so I've taken advantage by getting some crafting done.  Todays card features an adorable hAnglar image colored with Copic markers.

The cardstock is Bazzill and the DP's are from Kay Miller Designs and Raspberry Road. I think I've put everything on this card except the kitchen sink! LOL! I used a doily cut with a die from Cheery Lynn Designs, the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts spritzed with Glimmer Mist,

The ticket is a stamp and die from Whimsy that I got from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, the banner was cut using my Cricut Expression using my Gypsy and Celebrations cartridge, and the little hearts on the banner are a byproduct of a Martha Stewart heart border punch edged in chalk ink. The pin was made using some beads from Michael's, and the ribbon is May Arts silk ribbon from Stamp and Create colored with a Copic marker to match.

I am entering this into the following challenges:
Lovely hAnglar only- dots
Just Magnolia and hAnglar & stAnglar Challenge Blog - Friends

And I have FINALLY drawn a winner for the Magnolia-licious blog hop! And the winner is......

And #8 is.................

Congrats Riet! Please send me your information so I can get your box of goodies out to you! Thanks to everyone that played!!  Enjoy the rest of your weekend! Hugs!

hAnglar and stAnglar Easter bunny

Hi everyone! Oh my gosh, can you believe it's almost Easter already? It's like it just snuck up and bit me in the butt! I've been making cards for forever, but do you think I have a single one in the mail??? noooooooo...not me! Can someone PLEASE tell me why I do that? It's very frustrating! LOL!  Anyway, here's another Easter (or spring I guess, huh?) card I made up with those cute hAnglar stAnglar images. It's from the Easter kit, and they are just so cute I can hardly stand it! LOL! Anyway, had lots of fun making this one up!  She's colored with Copic markers (R01, 02, 05; E51, 53, 55; skin E11, 01, 00)

The cardstock used is Bazzill and the DP's are from Nitwit Collections. Again, sorry I can't remember which one, but if you want to know just email me and I'll figure it out for you. After I colored her, I cut her out with an oval Nestie, then used a Magnolia Doohickey die to frame it. So much fun, but I'm not a real big fan of all the cuts around the frame. Maybe it will grow on me. The flourishes are from a Magnolia Doohickey die as well. The doily is from a die from Cheery Lynn Designs and the flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts. The tag was made using the Whimsy ticket sentiments and their tag die cut that I got from  Bunny Zoes Crafts.  Then I used a little chalk ink around the edges of it.

All the layers are machine stitched and that fabulous ribbon is from Stamp and Create. The inside is decorated to match the front. I think that's it for this card!  Only a couple more days to get  Easter cards posted! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Papertake Weekly - Autumn Nights

We made it through Monday! Just a few more days and I get all of next week off work! You have no idea how much I'm looking forward to that break! So needless to say, I am ready for Friday to be here NOW! LOL!  With it being Tuesday, it's time for a new challenge from Papertake Weekly, and this week we're sponsored by the fabulous Katharina from Whiff of Joy! This weeks challenge is Autum Nights, so use autumn color such as oranges, reds, browns, reds, and greens.

I used this adorable Hanglar that  I've had for a while and never inked up (shame on me!). He's colored with Copic Sketch markers and then cut out with circle and scalloped circle Nesties.  I used some of my new Tim Holtz products such as the leaves cutting die and the ticket stamp. PP is from Nitwit Collections. I totally transformed those hearts! They're Melissa Frances glittery chipboard hearts, but I slathered Tim Holtz Distress Crackle paint all over them and then spritzed them with my Copic ABS with R89. Then I took my embossing gun to them for the nice big cracks.

So that's it for me today! Please be sure and pop over to Papertake Weekly to check out the gorgeous creations from the rest of the Design Team, and then grab your paper and glue and play along! You might get lucky and win a gorgeous prize from Whiff of Joy!! Thanks for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Hanglar and Stanglar thank you card using ProMarkers and Blog Candy Winner!!

Happy Saturday everyone! Hope you're enjoying your weekend! I know I sure am! I slept LATE today! I'm still trying to get rid of the last of this yucky cold, so I guess I needed it. I need to get a bunch of thank you cards done, so this is the start of them. Expect to see a few more. LOL! This one uses a cute Hanglar and Stanglar image, and this time she's colored with my Letraset ProMarkers! Isn't she adorable? The colors of the Promarkers are truly, truly beautiful! They have such a "soft" feeling to many of them. And they blend beautifully too! I really like the way she turned out. I also printed out the circle sentiment from my computer and colored the font with the same color as her outfit.

Cardstock is Bazzill, DP is Basic Grey, flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the lacy strip was made with a Martha Stewart punch and Bazzill cardstock. Ribbon is from Stamp and Create. Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Almost forgot to pull the blog candy winner for the Magnolia-liciou Blog Hop! So without further ado...here we go..... drum roll please.........

Another early bird!!! And the winner is.....

Congrats Kate!! Please email me your address and I'll get your Tilda and bat stamp in the mail! Thanks to everyone for playing along! Hugs!
